This small painting represents the Sciliar, one of the beautiful mountains of South Tyrol (Italy). The painting was created by pure chance, originally it was a boring view of the Sciliar under a sunny sky. It happens that one day I finished a work and had some remaining blue colour and so why don't use it for covering the boring landscape?

It wasn’t my intention to paint such a pink background, the sky behind the window of the little van was really as you see it on the painting. I was on tour with the band in Germany as we crossed a little town near Munich. The village at sunset seemed wrapped in a mystic aureole.

Sono enormi i fiocchi che si adagiano sul parabrezza della mia Ford ed è cosi ipnotizzante che riesco a stento a stare sveglio. Avevo fretta di tornare a casa, probabilmente solo perchè si ha sempre fretta. Però questa volta mi fermo, scendo e guardo verso il cielo sforzandomi di tenere gli occhi aperti. Lo so che non funzionerà, ma è un gioco, una sfida che si ripete ad ogni nevicata. Finalmente nevica!
